I am Inga, the originator, developer, and implementer of all the beauty that comes into your hands from the fortune cookie project idea 🙂
The early beginnings of the fortune cookie project, I would say, were quite unexpected. In 2017, participants in a women's forum needed to prepare leaflets. Admit it, most of us just throw them away without reading them, don't we? So that our leaflets wouldn't end up in the bin, we came up with the idea of adding a lovely, pink fortune cookie to each one 🙂 Why pink nails? I really don't remember. That's how the search for pink cookies with custom messages inside began. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the desired cookies, so we had to roll up our sleeves and implement the idea ourselves.
So yes, it all started with the pink fortune cookies 🙂 The idea itself really „hooked“ me. I started researching the history of fortune cookies, how they are made, packaged, etc. So inadvertently, one after another, ideas, attempts, and experiments began to form in my head - I can do better, I can do more beautifully, I can do it DIFFERENTLY 🙂
I've certainly had to throw away more than one batch of biscuits! But little by little, taking small steps, ideas turned into tentative attempts, then gifts for friends and family, and finally today, a colourful online shop for you!
Now I can be happy that an idea has become a hobby, which I have managed to turn into a favourite job. Every day I go to work as if it were a celebration, freely creating and implementing new ideas. What makes me happiest is that YOU like my ideas!
